Melrose Area Activities welcomes all students in grades 7-12 to register for the 2025-26 Fall Season! Due to the parking lot construction, we are not holding a large pre-season Fall Activity Meeting. Resources can be found on our school website, on the Athletics/Activities page.
Many activities begin practice on August 11, 2025, which is before the first day of school. Athletes need three things before they can practice: athletic physical, registration forms, and participation fees.
1) You will need a current athletic physical. These can be done at the Melrose Clinic or at a chiropractic office. Physicals are good for three years. If you had a physical in the last three years, you may not need one at this time. Students will not be able to register for athletics without a current physical on file. New physicals can be sent by email to Holly at hberscheit@isd740.org or given to the Activities Office.
2) You will need to sign the Minnesota State High School League and Melrose Area Public Schools eligibility forms. All forms can be completed online on the athletic page of the school website - choose Affinety Activity Registration.
3) Athletic Participation Fee: $75 for grades 7-8, and $100 for grades 9-12. This fee can be paid by credit card at the time of registration. To pay by cash or check, participants must register under ‘Special Considerations.’ Cash or checks should be brought to the Activities Office. Participants will not be on the roster until their fees are paid. All participants must be on the roster to practice.
