Congratulations to Faith Meyer, the 2025-26 District Spelling Bee Champion!
The yearly Spelling Bee, held Tuesday, January 13th, was won by Faith, daughter of Kurt and Heidi Meyer. Faith correctly spelled the words, "thesaurus" and "chandelier" to win the competition. Faith is in eighth grade, and will compete at Regions on February 12th at St. Cloud State University.
Runner up was Liam Christenson, a seventh grader from Melrose Area Public Schools.
