The Melrose Area Public Schools School Board has approved Evan Reller as the next principal of Melrose Elementary School at its February meeting.
Melrose Elementary has a strong foundation, and we’re excited for Mr. Reller to build on the great work already happening in our classrooms. Our staff and students are committed to continuous growth, and this leadership transition is an opportunity to keep that positive momentum going.
Evan stood out during two rounds of interviews for his experience, professionalism, and clear focus on students. He brings a strong background in curriculum and instructional leadership and understands how to support high-quality teaching and learning. He also values strong partnerships with families and staff and is committed to maintaining a school culture where students feel both supported and challenged each day.
Evan will officially begin his role on July 1. In the months ahead, he’ll be connecting with staff and helping prepare for a smooth transition into the new school year.
We’re excited to welcome him to this new role and look forward to the leadership and enthusiasm he will bring to Melrose Elementary.
