We continue to hit some milestones as the school year continues.  With the month of March the weather begins to transition to spring as we begin the transition from the winter sports season to the spring sports season.

The number of COVID-19 cases this past week continues to decrease to 16.77.  Current projections for next week will show this number continuing to have a small decline.  We will continue to have some small outbreaks in our buildings that will cause some quarantines to take place.

Nothing at this time changes in regard to all of the mitigation measures we have in place.  We need to continue to wear masks in schools and at all events and activities in our district.   We have turned the corner on our ability to get all students in school on a daily basis and have all activities in place. Please continue to partner with the school to keep on our current plan to be able to have all of our students in school.

As of this week, all of our students are back in school.  Please note that March 25, 2021 is our last learning plus day for Grades 6-12.

Our School Board Meetings will now be on a YouTube Channel.  Please check our website for the address of the YouTube Channel. For now, the open forum will still be a Zoom meeting.

The 2021-22 School Year calendar was finalized at the School Board meeting last Monday and is on our website.  If you click on the menu tab on the front page of our website you will see on the left-hand side of the screen the calendar for next year. We are in year 2 of a 3-year application to start school before Labor Day.  One other item to note that is a change from previous years is a 4 day weekend over President’s Day.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me or any of the building principals.
