The number of COVID-19 cases this past week does show a decrease to 45.47  Current projections for next week will show this number will decrease to 37.56.

The good news is that we are now on a slow trend with the numbers going down for the remainder of the school year.  With the weather improving this week, students will continue to spend more time outside during school and hopefully at home.

I know there was some confusion last week on the mask mandate with the CDC coming out with their recommendations.  However, we still have to follow the requirements of our Safe School Plan until we hear differently from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education.  Until we hear from them, the mask mandate stays in place at school when students are inside the school building and on the bus but they can take them off when they go outside.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me or any of the building principals.
