Registration:
All families must register their students this school year. If you have not done so, please go to the District’s website at www.isd740.org and click on ParentVUE as soon as possible so the staff can plan for your child(ren)’s arrival(s). Early Chromebook Pick up:
To avoid the open house rush, the school will be open prior to open house for early registration and early Chromebook pick up during the following times:
-Tuesday, August 17th: Open 9:30 a.m-2:30 p.m.
-Wednesday, 18th: Open 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
-Thursday, August 19th: Open 12:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT: Student registration must be complete AND technology fees must be paid before students can pick up their Chromebook.
Elementary students in grades 1-5 are included in the District's 1:1 initiative for technology devices. Every student issued a device has a required technology fee for device rental and warranty coverage. This annual technology fee is $30 per student or a maximum of $60 per family. Families may pay this fee online while they are in ParentVue before school begins or please bring a check or cash to the open house. Elementary students will not pick up their device (Chromebook) during open house, but they will have them in their classrooms from their teachers once school starts.
Middle and High School students (6-12) are all included in the District's 1:1 initiative for technology devices (Chromebook). To pay online through ParentVue the student(s) registration must be complete. In ParentVue clicking the “Fees” link on the left side will walk you through paying online. Online payments are processed by SchoolPay which does charge a convenience fee for each transaction. Melrose Area Schools uses SchoolPay for processing credit card and online payments for school lunches, technology fees, and other miscellaneous items such as field trips.
