Our  Community Meetings have been going very well. There has been a lot of positive, constructive discussion. In the discussions that followed the presentation, all of the people that have attended the meetings admitted they did not know all of the facts surrounding the bond referendum.  Attending the meeting has given them the additional information to make an informed decision.

More information continues to be added to the website.  There are now some comparative graphs of school taxes paid by area districts for both residential and ag properties.

I want to continue to caution you on the tax calculator located on our website.  Attempting to use this for ag land will not give you accurate information.  It states on the website to reach out to Ehlers directly with your questions on calculating the tax impact of ag land. Calculation of the tax impact on ag land is very complicated.  There are numerous factors that go into this calculation.  Here are the direct contacts for Ehlers:

Email them: info@ehlers-inc.com

Call them: 1-800-552-1171

I want to continue to make a standing offer on my part to be in attendance at the request of any individual or group of people that have questions on the bond referendum. I want to keep my calendar fairly open for the summer to attend to any requests. I do have standing meetings on my calendar so I cannot grant every request but I would like the opportunity to see if any other date would work.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me or any of the building principals.
