Once a month I go on the radio to discuss the events occurring within our school district and communities.  This radio interview is posted on our website. This past Friday’s radio interview was an extended conversation on the bond referendum.  The role of this message is to give you quick, concise, and up-to-date information on events in the school district.  If you want a comprehensive understanding of the school board's decision to move forward with a bond if you have time, listen to the radio interview.

The school district is moving forward with a bond referendum on February 14, 2023. The components of the bond referendum are the same as the August 9 referendum.  For those that attended the listening sessions and I would believe for most of the public, it was known the cost would be higher because of inflation.  The cost of the bond on the February 14 date will be $34,805,000. There will be much more information coming out on this bond referendum.

Please continue to monitor our website for any updates on the next steps of our building projects.

One very important reminder as we get into the winter driving season, please slow down.  I have been out at bus sites and crosswalks outside the school parking lots.  I know people are in a hurry but please slow down for the benefit of our students before an accident happens and someone gets hurt.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me or any of the building principals.
