Due to weather conditions, the Home Girls Basketball Game will be played early. JV and C Games will begin at 4:30pm, with Varsity to follow. Tonight is Parent's Night, and there will be Pep Band. Pep Band should arrive at 5:15pm.
Amanda's "Something Fancy" Card Class last night was awesome! The group made 10 cards each, and went home with the stamp set! She does a great job of preparing everything so you can just stamp and create! Amanda's last class this winter is March 7, the Adorable Owl Card Class! Congratulations to the Melrose Knowledge Bowl team that competed at Sartell on Saturday. Varsity finished 3rd of 26. Members of the team include Austin Kelzer, Grant Hellermann, and Natalie Enright. Melrose JV A team finished 3rd of 15. Team members include Logan Kelzer, Logan Rue, Kai Enright, and Derick Rademacher.
Melrose JV B team finished 1st of 15. Team members include Eric Sundermann, Enoch Morelos, Andrue Stalboerger, and Tanner Sand.

The Archery team competed at Sauk Centre on 2/11. Camilla McCormick took 2nd place for High School Girls, with her personal best of 282. Leo Kasper took 3rd place for Elementary Boys, shooting personal best - 236. Many other archers also had their personal best!

The Melrose/Sauk Centre Fusion Boys Swimming and Diving Team won the Western Regional Championships over Montevideo/Marshall and Morris. The boys have taken first at this meet against the other teams from the West Central Conference 18 out of the last 19 seasons. Congratulations!
Students in Culinary Class have been working on Maillard Reaction (caramelization) all week! Students made their own brioche hamburger buns, ground their own meat, seasoned it to their satisfaction, then pan seared and cooked burgers to perfection.
