✨ Spotlight Moment! ✨
On November 21, our Theatre Camp performers took the stage with “Sheldon Holmes: It’s All Elementary”—and wow, did they shine! 🎭

These talented young actors learned their lines and stage cues in just over a week and delivered an incredible performance for friends and family. We’re so proud of their hard work and confidence!

Melrose Area 8th Grade Foods Class made two recipes - Crunch Wrap and Oatmeal Cookies! Students learned making a Crunch Wrap at home is less expensive and a healthier option. Oatmeal Cookies are a great way to incorporate whole grains. These recipes were a huge hit with our 8th Graders!

Students in Ms. Pena's Child Development Class were out and about during class. Their focus was on the importance of exercise during pregnancy. On the first day, they took a tour around school without our backpacks. On the second day, they took a tour with their backpacks on the front of their bodies to simulate the weight of being pregnant.
Students realized a difference with the weight distribution. As a group, they were motivated to explore the importance of maintaining a healthy exercise routine during pregnancy.

Melrose Area 7th Grade Students experimented in the kitchen when making their first recipe of 2nd quarter. Half the class used store bought refrigerated pizza dough, while the second half made their dough from scratch. Both types of pizzas were topped with sweet green bell peppers and turkey pepperonis, and all students gave good reviews! Mmm!
Another great day in the kitchen!
