Today is Flag Day, a USA holiday, commemorating the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. Here are three pieces of flag etiquette. 1) Never let the flag touch anything beneath it: ground, floor, water, or merchandise. 2) Carry the flag horizontally, but always aloft. Fasten or display the flag in a way that will prevent damage. 3) Never place anything on the flag, including letters, insignia, or designs of any kind.

Today was the most BEAUTIFUL day to have the annual Dutchmen Booster Club golf scramble! This is the only fundraiser that the DBC holds each year - it raises money to support various Dutchmen sports, activities and scholarships each year. Thank you to all business donors, hole sponsors, golf participants & DBC members who volunteered their time today to make sure this event was successful. What a fabulous turnout!
