Local police officers and area students gathered in December to Shop With a Cop! This event paired officers and kids, who went shopping together. Everyone had a blast! We are so fortunate to have this program in our community!

Congratulations to Andrue Stalboerger who set a new Fusion and Melrose High School record in diving with a score of 249.10! He broke his own Fusion record, and the previous Melrose Diving record was set by David Imdieke in 1991. The Fusion defeated Detroit Lakes/Perham 119-66. Way to go Fusion!!


Grades 4 and 5 had a wonderful time skiing on their field trip yesterday! We are so thankful for the beautiful Minnesota weather! #DutchmenPride





Melrose Area Band Students, under the direction of Todd Prout, entertained students in the Elementary Cafeteria on December 20th and 21st! Students were able to clap and sing along. #DutchmenPride



Third Grade Students went on Elfcapades with Kindergarteners today! Spreading more than just cheer, they made cookies with lots and lots of sprinkles! It was so much fun!








Last week the Melrose Area High School Student Council raised money for Coltin Eggerth, a senior at Melrose High School, who was diagnosed with Leukemia in June. Students and staff enjoyed cinnamon rolls baked and cake while raising funds for a friend. Yesterday, Coltin and his parents were presented with a cake, care blanket, and a check for $2,132. Due to the mild December weather, Mr. Pundsack's 10th grade biology students were able to look for freshwater mussels in the Sauk River last week!
