Congratulations to the Knowledge Bowl teams that competed in the first conference meet of the year yesterday in Kimball. Competition was very close as Litchfield was first with 60, followed by Mayer/Lutheran with 59, and Melrose in third with 58.5. Melrose J.V. team A won their division with a score of 66. Tied for second were HLWW and Melrose J.V. team B with 48.5. Conference scores are cumulative. Wednesday scores will be added to the results from the next three conference meets to determine the conference champion. #DutchmenPride

Melrose/Sauk Centre Fusion Boys Swimming and Diving finishes in Third Place today out of 15 teams at the 5th Annual West Fargo Border Battle! This is the team's highest ever finish at the meet and they were the highest finishing school from Minnesota in the meet! Top 8 finishers included Alex Wilwerding, Sevrin Anderson, Jacob Robischon, Grant Eveslage, Andrue Stalboerger, Thatcher Van Beck, Nolan Fleischhacker and Macen Toavs-Etcheverry. GO FUSION!! Local police officers and area students gathered in December to Shop With a Cop! This event paired officers and kids, who went shopping together. Everyone had a blast! We are so fortunate to have this program in our community!

Congratulations to Andrue Stalboerger who set a new Fusion and Melrose High School record in diving with a score of 249.10! He broke his own Fusion record, and the previous Melrose Diving record was set by David Imdieke in 1991. The Fusion defeated Detroit Lakes/Perham 119-66. Way to go Fusion!!

Third Grade Students went on Elfcapades with Kindergarteners today! Spreading more than just cheer, they made cookies with lots and lots of sprinkles! It was so much fun!
