The Melrose Archery Team competed at Albany this weekend. In the high school girls' division, Gretta Kasper took 3rd place shooting 285, and Camilla McCormick took 5th place with a 279. Anika Berscheit took 3rd place in the middle school girls' division, shooting 266. Other amazing achievements - Daniel Mueller, Gretta Kasper, Caden VanHavermaet and Camilla McCormick have all had perfect rounds this year!

Weather Related Announcements: Boys Basketball at Minnewaska has been postponed. Girls Basketball at Home vs Upsala has been postponed. Both Boys and Girls High School Basketball will practice tonight. Boys Hockey at Fergus Falls has been postponed. No 7/8th grade Boys Basketball practice tonight.


The Melrose Speech Team took some veteran speakers to the meet in Chaska to compete on February 18. Melrose was only one of two Class A teams at the meet - the rest were all AA schools. Of our eleven competitors, nine made it to either the Final round or Next-in final round. It was so fun to watch the awesome competition so early in the season! The Junior High team will compete in Perham on Thursday, February 23rd and the next varsity meet will be next Saturday the 25th in Princeton. Full steam ahead!!

Thanks to the Centre Area Concert Association for bringing the Travis Anderson Trio to the Marit Elliott Performing Arts Center last night! Their jazz music was great fun!



UPDATE: GBB Game tonight has been cancelled due to weather. Also, archery for tonight has been cancelled. The Centre Area Concert Series Event for tonight is ON. Concert in the MEPAC at 7:30pm for ticket holders. Try-outs for Sister Act are ON; come to the Choir Room.
