Today is National School Librarian Day! We want to recognize and appreciate the valuable contributions of school librarians and their role in supporting students' learning and development. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also dedicated to helping our children find the resources they need to keep learning. Today, we thank Holly Nelson from Melrose Elementary, and Ashley Frericks from the MS/HS. We are so glad to have you in our school! #DutchmenPride

Tomorrow, April 4, 2025, is National Walk to Work Day! This is an annual event that encourages people to embrace walking as a healthy and eco-friendly way to commute. Kids can participate too! Set your alarm for a bit earlier, pack a breakfast to go, and put on a pair of good shoes! Not only will we reduce carbon emissions, we will also add some healthy movement to the day, and have a chance to appreciate the outdoors! #DutchmenPride

Today, April 2nd, is International Children's Book Day, a celebration of reading and children's literature, coinciding with the birthday of Hans Christian Andersen, the renowned Danish author.
