Melrose Area Culinary Arts Students had a Chili Cook-off last Friday! There were four teams who created chili for the competition. Staff were able to test the chili and were encouraged to rate them! The best chili went to '3 Senior 1 Junior' team, with second place going to 'The Four Hot Chili Peppas.'

November 13, 2025 is National Community Education Day!
This is a day to honor the people, programs, and purpose behind learning that goes far beyond school walls. We are pleased to shine a light on community centered education. From early childhood to adulthood, we want to thank all the teachers, coordinators, and volunteers who help it happen. These efforts build stronger neighborhoods where growth never stops and learning stays within reach for every stage of life. Community Education is about people supporting one another, sharing ideas, and gaining skills that make everyday life better.

Ms Christenson's 7th grade science class had the opportunity today to dissect frogs!! The students learned so much from this unit & everyone had a great time learning about anatomy. What a great day!
